Emma is on the path to achieving a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering at Queen Mary University of London. With hands-on practical experience in Python algorithm development, UI/UX design, space exploration research, and a deep interest in space technology, she is passionate about making impactful contributions to innovative projects. During her recent internship, she partook in researching and writing a Python algorithm able to analyse weather patterns in order to predict cyclones in Fiji, demonstrating her proficiency in data acquisition and analysis. Emma also gained valuable experience working with a startup, where she contributed to the development of a mobile app interface within cross-functional teams. Her academic journey has led her to work with transit light curve data to determine the presence and characteristics of exoplanets. Her research work at QMCUR will be focused on design aircraft parts for sustainable travelling.
