Ethan, a second-year undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, possesses a wealth of experience across various domains. He has held positions in R&D at BAE SYSTEMS, Aeronautical Engineering with Airbus, and Sustainable Engineering at Costain-Skanska. Currently, he serves as a Senior Powertrains Engineer at Queen Mary Formula Student, concurrently working as a Back-end Developer at a social media startup. In this role, he specializes in automating critical processes for the platform's architecture, leveraging a variety of programming languages, including Python, SQL, and HTML. Ethan's primary research interests encompass heat transfer systems, internal combustion engines, mechanical propulsion, and the development of digital twin models within diverse engineering sectors. Extra interests lie in the integration of technology into Engineering, a passion he seeks to infuse into his research pursuits. In his spare time, he finds enjoyment in watching movies, traveling, and taking long walks with his hyperactive German Shepherd, Lenny.
